Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Admin. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of DevOps practices, system automation, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure management. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance deployment pipelines, optimize cloud environments, and maintain highly available systems.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Linux Expertise: Proficient in Linux systems administration, including RedHat, Ubuntu, or CentOS.
  • Container Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar orchestration tools for managing large-scale containerized deployments.
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
  • Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), especially in containerized application deployments.
  • Automation: Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
  • Networking: Good understanding of networking in containers, including DNS, firewall configurations, and load balancing.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack for monitoring and log aggregation.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure management.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS/Azure certifications, or Linux certifications (e.g., RHCE).
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like Jira.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security hardening for  Linux, including securing containers, vulnerability scanning, and auditing.
  • DevSecOps: Experience in integrating security tools within CI/CD pipelines and container environments.
