DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes Cluster Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes Cluster Building &
Management to design, deploy, and maintain scalable containerized environments. The ideal
candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster setup, networking, security,
and automation, with a preference for those holding a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
certification.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on on-premise and cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
 Automate cluster provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
 Implement and optimize Kubernetes networking (CNI: Calico, Flannel, Cilium) and Ingress
controllers (NGINX, Traefik, Istio).
 Manage RBAC, Security Policies, and Network Policies for secure cluster operations.
 Set up Persistent Storage Solutions (PV, PVC, Storage Classes – EBS, Ceph, NFS, GlusterFS).
 Implement CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based deployments using Jenkins, ArgoCD,
FluxCD, or GitLab CI/CD.
 Monitor, log, and troubleshoot clusters using Prometheus, Grafana, EFK (Elasticsearch,
Fluentd, Kibana).
 Perform ETCD backup, disaster recovery, and Kubernetes upgrades.
 Optimize auto-scaling strategies (HPA, VPA, Cluster Autoscaler) for performance and cost-
efficiency.
 Collaborate with development and security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.

Required Skills:

✅ Kubernetes Cluster Administration & Architecture
✅ Experience in Kubeadm, Kubespray, K3s, Minikube, or EKS/AKS/GKE
✅ Strong knowledge of Helm, Operators, CRDs
✅ Experience with Containerization (Docker, Podman, CRI-O)
✅ Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
✅ Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK)
✅ CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
✅ Strong Linux Administration & Scripting (Bash, Python, Go, or YAML)

Preferred Qualifications:

 Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification (Highly Preferred)
 Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul)
 Exposure to Kubernetes in Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Environments
 Knowledge of Kubernetes Security Best Practices & Compliance
